Curriculum Council

Curriculum Council Purpose

Become knowledgeable about the Common Core State Standards and frameworks and convey their intent and content to the staffs at their school sites.

Become familiar with models and methods of instruction that are beneficial to student learning.

Bring site based curriculum ideas/plans to the Council for discussion and Council feedback prior to implementation.

Take district-based curriculum ideas/plans to the school staffs for discussion and staff feedback prior to implementation.

Review and recommend/not recommend the adoption and purchase of curriculum to the NUSD Board of Education.

Provide any other information concerning curriculum, as deemed necessary by the Council, to the NUSD Board of Education.
